God speaks to us.

For the past several years, I have wanted a relationship with God. I have listened to

people’s testimony of their relationship with God and how He would talk to them. I cried

because I wanted this type of relationship also. I believed that I had never heard from God.

I know that in the Bible there are at least 11 verses that say that If I seek God, I will find him.

Then something dawned on me this morning as I was walking and listening to Joel Osteen.

I know that many Christians take issue with Joel and his beliefs. I respect your feelings and

your beliefs. However, I do know that God has used many unordinary ways to speak to

man. He used dreams, Angels, a donkey, a burning bush, and a hand writing on a wall. So,

if God will use these, why should I question the man with the message, no matter how

much others may question his beliefs.

I have gone through a lot lately that has made me question even my very existence. I have sought God and answers. Would you believe that every time I have gone through a dark path, troubling time or just need to hear from God, that I have turned on my radio to Joel Osteen and the message that he was giving was EXACTLY what I was seeking at that very moment!

This is not an endorsement for Joel Osteen. I just found that Joel speaks to me in a way that

I understand. God may use other ways to talk to you. But be open to God’s ways, because

they are not our own.

Seek Him and YOU WILL FIND HIM.
